Exhibitions of Exquisite 20th Century Kimono

Exhibitions of exquisite kimono such as a Japanese family might have stored in their kimono chest. This shows the wonderful national costume of Japan. Observe the variety of designs, dyeing and weaving techniques in these beautiful garments.

The collection of Sheila Cliffe, the first non Japanese woman to qualify as a professional dresser and dressing teacher at Suzunoya Gakuin, has been built up over the last 20 years and shows many of the wonderful Japanese hand made textile techniques and a large variety of different types of kimno.
